Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea is a very suspenseful realistic fiction story. One of the main characters is a self-absorbed 5th grade girl named, Alexia. One of her character traits is that she is mean because she bullies others. She says hateful things, for example when she is working on the project with Danielle she tells her that she should be in charge of the food because she is so fat. Another example of her being mean is when she lies to Danielle and tells her that Jessica was making fun of her because she was angry with Jessica for standing up to her.
